This new damper is ideal for any round air cooled or solid pack factory built chimney, round clay flue, or flexible or rigid stainless liner. It is constructed of 304-alloy stainless for long life and years of reliable service. The Drop-In Damper is a great solution to install below ENERVEX Chimney Fans to provide a damper in the flue but not interfere with the operation of the fan. The spring powered opening mechanism insures reliable operation through varying conditions of use. 30' cable and hardware included. Note: Don't use dampers with gas logs - failure to open could cause carbon monoxide to back up into the house. In case of a gas leak, gas could be trapped in the flue, resulting in an explosion. 8" and 10" dampers listed below are stocked in warehouses. 6", 7", 9", 11", 12", and 14" Drop-In Dampers are available factory direct.
